West Brom secure second away win of season
Foxes fail to score for third game in a row
Leonardo Ulloa dropped to bench for Leicester
Baggies stick with same Premier League 11
Esteban Cambiasso's own goal gave West Brom victory as Leicester's unbeaten Premier League start at the King Power Stadium came to an end.
On 47 minutes, Wes Morgan headed Saido Berahino's cross straight into Cambiasso's thigh and into the net.
The Foxes have scored just twice in their last five games and dropped top-scorer Leonardo Ulloa to the bench.
They remain one point above the relegation zone while West Brom in 10th are undefeated in three league games.
The Foxes' most recent victory came six weeks ago when Ulloa scored twice in a thrilling 5-3 home win over Manchester United, but the Argentine had failed to register a shot in four games since then.
Manager Nigel Pearson made four changes to the side that lost to Swansea last week, with the unfortunate Cambiasso among the additions in midfield.
Leicester's Andy King squandered the first chance of the match, heading straight into the hands of goalkeeper Ben Foster, who then made a hash of his throw and was lucky not to be penalised for carrying the ball out of his area.

West Brom have won five of their last six games at Leicester in all competitions, drawing the other. |
But it was West Brom - with 10 changes from the side beaten in the League Cup by Bournemouth in midweek - who made the early running, Stephane Sessegnon and Berahino, fresh after his 15-minute cameo against the Cherries, repeatedly testing the home offside trap.
The latter brought a first save from Kasper Schmeichel after 17 minutes - although the England Under-21 international, who is the leading English marksman in the Premier League, was flagged offside.
With half-time approaching, both sides fluffed chances to take the lead. First Leicester's Jamie Vardy failed to make a clean connection when attempting an overhead kick in the six-yard box and then West Brom's Chris Brunt blazed over from the edge of the area after a neat breakaway through Sessegnon and Berahino.
Two minutes after the restart, however, the Baggies' fortunes in front of goal changed when Cambiasso unwittingly diverted Morgan's header into his own net.
Vardy forced a save from Foster on 62 minutes after latching on to a long clearance from left-back Paul Konchesky before strike partner David Nugent made way for Ulloa as the Foxes pressed for an equaliser.
But the Baggies, who arrived on a run of one defeat in five league games, held firm in the face of late pressure and when Ulloa saw his late effort blocked in the box it was clear it was not to be Leicester's day.
Leicester manager Nigel Pearson:
"It took an own goal to separate the sides today and that is an indicator of how small the margins are.
"I have to look back at the game and rue the fact we didn't make enough of some situations. That is how it is going for us at the moment.
"We can't get too wrapped up in the negativity that some people throw in our direction. When you have set-backs in life you have to take a look at what is actually going on.
"I know what we are capable off and I'm still very confident that, given a little bit more time, we will make sure we maximize our quality."
West Brom manager Alan Irvine:
"It means a lot. It is a difficult place to come to and we are the first team to win here [this season].
"It was a complete team performance. We needed a threat up front and we did that. At the back we were solid against some really difficult forwards to play against.
"Three points. Clean sheet. It's a great feeling for us and it gives us a platform to go into the next game - Newcastle at home - which will be really difficult for us.
"I said all along it was going to take a bit of time, but it was important to find the best way of playing for our group of players and we are getting closer to that."
