At 29, Cristiano Ronaldo is four years younger than Raul was when he grabbed his 71st Champions League goal. Ronaldo has scored in every game in the competition this season.

Ronaldo has had a shot clocked at 80 miles per hour. Hitting a ball at that speed would see it travel 39 yards in a second, a worrying thought for Liverpool, if he is allowed time and space inside their half.

Messi has scored 250 league goals, leaving him one short of Telmo Zarra's all-time Spanish league scoring record.

Since 2004, Messi is the only player in the top five European leagues to both score and assist more than 100 league goals. He has scored 250 and assisted 101.

Lionel Messi has scored twice after three Champions League games this season. Of Barcelona's six goals in the competition, Messi has either scored or assisted four of them.

Phenomenal pair: Since Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009, the Portuguese forward and Messi have scored 390 league goals between them (194 and 196 respectively).
