John Swift: Chelsea midfielder joins Swindon Town on loan

John Swift made his Chelsea debut in May against Cardiff City

Swindon Town have signed Chelsea midfielder John Swift on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old started the season on loan at Rotherham but his deal was cancelled after three months.

He has joined the League One promotion chasers as cover for Yaser Kasim and Massimo Luongo, who will be on international duty throughout January.

Swift has made one substitute appearance for Chelsea, in their Premier League game at Cardiff in May.
