Mani Dieseruvwe: Chesterfield sign Sheffield Wednesday striker

Mani Dieseruvwe has been prolific for the Owls' under-21 side

Chesterfield have signed striker Mani Dieseruvwe from Sheffield Wednesday on a month-long youth loan deal.

Dieseruvwe, 19, has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Owls but spent time on loan at Hyde and Fleetwood Town last season.

"It's a big chance and another step up for me," Dieseruvwe told Wednesday's club website.

"It's one thing scoring for the under-21s but this is a big step up and I can't wait to start."

Chesterfield are currently seventh in League One, a point outside the play-offs.
