Leyton Orient have signed Josh Wright on a free transfer after his contract with Millwall was cancelled.

The 25-year-old has spent the last two months on loan with the O's, during which time he made 12 appearances.

Wright, who left Millwall on Monday, has agreed a deal with the League One club until the end of the season.

"Playing here has given me the longest run of games I've had for a while and I feel fitter and stronger all the time," he told the Orient website., external

"I'm still getting there and the sharpness is coming back.

"I've enjoyed it despite some indifferent results but there's a real buzz back in the place after the last two games.

"I'm proud and privileged to call myself a full Leyton Orient player and I'm ready to move on with the club now."

Meanwhile, the east London club have appointed Gianluca Romano as chief scout, but head of sports science Lee Southernwood has left by mutual consent.
