Scunthorpe sign Tom Hopper and Jacob Murphy on loan

Tom Hopper joined Leicester City from non-league Boston United aged 16

Scunthorpe United have signed Leicester City striker Tom Hopper and Norwich City midfielder Jacob Murphy on 28-day loan deals.

Hopper, 21, has not appeared for the Premier League side this season.

Murphy, 19, recently returned to Carrow Road after a loan spell at Blackpool was cut short after he posted a photo on social media appearing to mock the club's results.

Both could make their debuts for the Iron in Saturday's trip to Walsall.
