Javi Guerra scored 15 goals for Valladolid in the 2013-14 season before joining Cardiff City

Cardiff City striker Javi Guerra has sealed his return to Spanish football after less than a season with the club.

The 32-year-old joined Cardiff from Real Valladolid in the summer of 2014, but failed to make an impact.

Despite an impressive goal record in Spain, Guerra did not score in his three Championship substitute appearances and two League Cup starts this season.

He has joined join La Liga side Malaga on loan until 30 June.
