Manchester City Women sign Everton Ladies striker Nikita Parris on a season-long loan deal.
The 20-year-old came through the youth system at Everton and was named their player of the year last season.
The England Under-23 international is the sister of Natasha Jonas - Britain's first female Olympic boxer.
"Nikita has big ambitions to be part of that England squad particularly with it being a World Cup year," said Everton boss Andy Spence., external
"We know as a result we are losing, for a season, a good player but we very much expect that Nikita will recognise that we have given her this chance and, in 12 months' time, will be looking to come back to Everton."
Parris is Manchester City's fifth signing for next season after Sarah Wiltshire, Lucy Bronze, Jennifer Beattie and Demi Stokes.
Everton were relegated from the top flight of women's football after 21 years following a defeat by Notts County in September.
