David Edgar: Birmingham City defender joins Huddersfield Town

Birmingham City defender David Edgar has joined Championship rivals Huddersfield Town on loan until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has made 19 appearances for Blues this term, but only three of those since Gary Rowett took over as manager in October.
His most recent game came as a second-half sub against Leeds on Saturday.
Canada international Edgar came through the youth ranks at Newcastle and also had a spells at Burnley and Swansea.
"He's a very capable player in a number of defensive positions, having played during his career at centre-back, right-back, left-back and in a holding midfield role in the top two divisions in England," said Terriers boss Chris Powell., external
"David also has a well-earned reputation as a leader and organiser on the pitch, which will be of great benefit to the team."
