Bradford City are to sign Andrew Halliday permanently, and extend Francois Zoko's loan, before their FA Cup trip to Chelsea on Saturday.

Halliday has made 15 appearances on loan from Middlesbrough this term and the 23-year-old will join on a free.

Zoko, 31, is yet to start since joining from Blackpool in November, but will stay until the end of May.

"I think Zoko will really kick on once he gets his first goal for us," manager Phil Parkinson told BBC Radio Leeds.

"He's determined to play more and along with James Hanson, Jon Stead and Billy Clarke it means we have four good strikers.

"When you have a small squad it's vital to have versatile players. Andy gives us that in central midfield and the wide positions."
