MK Dons have signed Manchester City striker Devante Cole on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Barnsley, where he scored seven times in 23 games, and could play against them on Saturday.

Cole, the son of former Man City, Manchester United and Newcastle striker Andrew, is yet to make his City debut.

He is capped at England youth levels up to the under-19s and scored six times in last season's Uefa Youth League.

MK Dons lost top scorer Benik Afobe earlier this month, after parent club Arsenal sold him to Wolves.

Boss Karl Robinson told the club website:, external "Devante is a player I've wanted to bring to the club for a long time. He's an exciting youngster who can play either on the wing or up-front.

"He's held in high regard by Manchester City and the FA, having represented England at all levels from Under-16s to Under-19s, and I can't wait to work with him for the remainder of the season."
