Niall Maher: Blackpool sign Bolton Wanderers full-back on loan

Blackpool are currently bottom of the Chanmpionship

Blackpool have signed defender Niall Maher on a month's loan from Championship rivals Bolton Wanderers.

The 19-year-old has yet to make a senior appearance for his parent club.

"He can play both full-back positions really well and he's really quick and strong," manager Lee Clark told the Blackpool website.

Maher is likely to go straight into bottom-of-the table Blackpool's squad for their Championship game at sixth-placed Watford on Saturday.
