Derry steered Notts to unlikely League One survival last season and they are within two points of the play-off places this term
Notts County have signed forward Kaiyne Woolery on a month-long loan from Championship side Bolton Wanderers.
The 20-year-old joined the Trotters from Tamworth last summer, but has yet to play a first-team game for Bolton and moves to Notts on a youth loan.
Derry told BBC Radio Nottingham: "The biggest difference between now and the last seven or eight games is we have different types of players available.
"That's why I looked at Kaiyne, as he has absolute sheer pace."
