League One play-off hopefuls Sheffield United hammered struggling Scunthorpe.
The Blades took the lead when Jason Holt cut inside and his low cross drifted into the corner.
Jose Baxter made it 2-0 from the penalty spot before the break after Ryan Flynn was tripped in the area by Iron full-back Jordan Clarke.
Jamie Murphy raced away to finish neatly before Baxter netted his second penalty after Miguel Llera was sent off for fouling Marc McNulty in the box.
The result means that the fifth-placed Blades are now six points clear of seventh-placed Barnsley.
Scunthorpe, who have now lost three of their last four matches, remain one point clear of the League One relegation zone with nine games to play.
Scunthorpe boss Mark Robins told BBC Radio Humberside:
"You've just witnessed probably the best performance from a Sheffield United team that I've seen for a long time. You're talking about a big club who actually turned up tonight and played a game that was absolutely outstanding.
"We conceded a first goal that was a poor first goal to concede. There's been two penalties and in all fairness we've come up against them on an unbelievable good night. I can't do anything about that, you've got to take your hat off to them.
"We've got nine games left in a season where we've been in and around the bottom of the division all the time, so let's put it into some perspective.
"That was a Championship performance from them. They were outstanding."
