Ryan Bird scored in Cambridge's FA Trophy final win against Gosport Borough last season
Hartlepool United have signed striker Ryan Bird on a one-month loan from League Two rivals Cambridge United.
Bird, 27, joined the U's from Portsmouth in September following a loan spell last season and has since scored four goals in 21 games.
His stay with Cambridge last term ended with promotion to the Football League and an FA Trophy winner's medal.
The forward moved into the professional ranks with Pompey after a spell at non-league Burnham.
