Wycombe Wanderers have signed Brentford midfielders Sam Saunders and Nico Yennaris on loan until 29 March.

Saunders, 31, formerly with Dagenham & Redbridge, has featured six times for the Bees this season and has played 171 games across six years at the club.

Yennaris, 21, moved to Griffin Park from Arsenal in the summer, after an initial loan spell.

"They're both excellent footballers who bring another dimension to the squad," said Chairboys boss Gareth Ainsworth.

"We have taken our time in the loan market to ensure we could bring in the highest possible calibre of player, and I think we've achieved that with Sam and Nico.

"We have an excellent relationship with Brentford which enables this type of deal to happen, and once again we're grateful for their support in allowing us to bring these two players to Adams Park."

Both players could make their Wycombe debuts in Saturday's home game against Stevenage.
