Rob Holding: Bury sign Bolton defender on loan

David Flitcroft's Bury are hoping to win promotion from League Two

Bury have signed Bolton defender Rob Holding on loan until the end of the League Two season.

The 19-year-old has come through the Championship club's academy and is a regular in their Under-21 side.

Holding is primarily a central defender and has made nine appearances for Bolton's Under-21 team this season, scoring two goals.

He is eligible to take part in play-off fixtures if David Flitcroft's side, who are currently fourth, should qualify.
