Barcelona midfielder Xavi deserves to go out on a high by winning his fourth Champions League title on Saturday, according to team-mate Andres Iniesta.
The final in Berlin against Juventus will be the 35-year-old's final Barca appearance, after picking up 24 trophies in 17 years at the club.
"He is the number one for me and it has been great to have him as a colleague and also a friend," said Iniesta.
"Hopefully it will be the perfect ending for him and the team."
Barcelona will be hoping to complete a treble, having beaten Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday and lifted the La Liga title.
Juventus are also trying to secure a treble of their own after winning Serie A and the Italian Cup this season.
Xavi will join Qatari side Al Sadd on a three-year deal after leaving Barcelona.
