Stoke City have completed the £5.75m signing of striker Joselu from German side Hannover 96.

The former Spain Under-21 international scored 10 goals in 32 appearances in 2014-15 after joining Hannover from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer.

Joselu, 25, previously played for Spanish sides Celta and Real Madrid.

"Joselu is excited about testing himself in the Premier League and we're delighted to have him with us," said Stoke boss Mark Hughes.

"He has skills and attributes that are different to what we already have within the squad but will complement the attacking players we already have at our disposal."

Joselu came through the youth system at Celta before joining Real Madrid in 2010.

He made just one appearance for the La Liga giants before joining Hoffenheim in 2012.

Joselu becomes Stoke's third signing of the summer following defender Philipp Wollscheid and goalkeeper Jakob Haugaard.
