Bristol Academy have signed seven players, including Arsenal's Caroline Weir and Equatorial Guinea striker Jade Boho Sayo from Rayo Vallecano.

Scotland midfielder Weir and goalkeeper Hannah Reid, both 20, reunite with ex-Hibernian boss Willie Kirk at Bristol.

Defender Hannah Short, 22, rejoins the club after six years and midfielder Tatiana Pinto, 21, joins from SC Sand.

Kirk has also signed Bulgaria forward Evdokia Popadinova, 18, and 30-year-old Netherlands defender Marije Brummel.

Meanwhile, midfielder Georgia Evans, 19, has signed her first professional deal.

Forward Nicola Watts has re-joined Women's Super League Two leaders Reading on a transfer deadline day that also saw midfielders Alex Hurst and Isobel Dalton and goalkeeper Alice Evans leave the Vixens.

Evans, 20, is set to return to WSL 2 side Yeovil Town, while 17-year-old Dalton will move to the United States to attend college and 20-year-old Hurst moves to Women's Super League South West Division One side Swindon Town.
