Inverness CT: Goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams joins Highlanders

Owain Fon Williams has signed a deal with Scottish Cup winners Inverness CT

Welsh goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams has signed a deal with Inverness Caledonian Thistle after leaving Tranmere Rovers.

Manager John Hughes named the 28-year-old in his starting line-up for the Europa League tie with Astra Giurgiu hours after confirming his signature.

Williams spent four years at Prenton Park, making over 180 appearances for the English Conference Premier side.

He has been called up a number of times for the Welsh international squad but is yet to make his debut.
