Premier League predictions: Lawro v WWE wrestling star Neville
- Published
BBC Sport's football expert Mark Lawrenson is pitting his wits against a different guest each week this season.
Lawro's opponent for this weekend's Premier League fixtures is WWE star Neville.
The Newcastle-born wrestler is now based in the United States but says he remains "black and white through and through".
"Being a Newcastle fan is part of my identity," he told BBC Sport. "Having NUFC and being able to support them while I am overseas means the world to me."
Most of Neville's favourite Newcastle players come from Kevin Keegan's swashbuckling side of the 1990s.
"Growing up I had so many heroes," the 29-year-old explained. "I have got fond memories of everyone from David Ginola to Alan Shearer and Robert Lee.
"Then there was big Pav Srnicek, our rock in goal for many years, who lived near my estate when I was a boy. I used to ride to his house on my bike just to see his car's number plate 'Pav 1'."
Srnicek would not make Neville's shortlist for a Newcastle wrestling tag-team partner though - that comes down to a choice between Cheick Tiote, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Faustino Asprilla.
"I'm not sure if you remember Asprilla's goal celebrations, but they are very similar to the ones I do in the ring so we would complement each other very well," Neville said.

Our scoring system has changed this season and a correct result (picking a win, draw or defeat) is now worth 10 points. The exact score earns 40 points.
In the round of games before the international break, Lawro got four correct results from 10 Premier League games, with three perfect scores.
His score of 130 points saw him beat the Wealdstone Raider, who also picked four correct results but with two perfect scores, for a total score of 100 points.
We are keeping a record of the totals for Lawro and his guests (below), and showing a table of how the Premier League would look if all of Lawro's predictions were correct (at the bottom of the page).
