Nigel Clough has 11 years in charge of Burton from 1998 before joining Derby County
New Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough will not be in charge for Saturday's away match against Gillingham because of long-standing media commitments.
Coaches Gary Crosby and Andy Garner will take over for the game in Kent.
Clough, who spent 11 years in charge of the Brewers before joining Derby in 2009, returned as boss this week after Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's move to QPR.
Chairman Ben Robinson told the club website:, external "I was aware of Nigel's commitments when he was appointed."
Clough's first match in charge will be the home game against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, 19 December.
Robinson added: "We wanted to get Nigel in as soon as possible so he could take training and keep the team moving forward."
