- Published
MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez will be out of action for around a month after breaking his leg.
The Spaniard, 21, broke his right fibula during a dirt-track training session in Lleida, near Barcelona.
Marquez, who became the youngest winner of the world title in 2013, is set to miss testing in Sepang and Phillip Island, Australia.
He said: "It's an unfortunate accident that could happen to anyone. Thankfully it seems like a clean break."
Marquez will begin his rehabilitation shortly and is expected to recover in time for the opening MotoGP race of the season, in Qatar on 23 March.
