Hull FC: Jacob Miller arrival subject to issuing of visa

Hull FC director of rugby Shaun McRae says half-back Jacob Miller is waiting in Australia until a visa is issued.

The 20-year-old signed for the Black and Whites in mid-May as a replacement for the released Brett Seymour but has not yet been able to join his new team.

McRae said:, external "We're being patient and can only get a rough guidance period.

"Realistically, it could be 10 days before we know exactly when we'll get Jacob in but when Jacob's visa arrives he'll be on the first plane over here."

Meanwhile, veteran half-back Richard Horne limped off in Saturday's Magic Weekend win over Hull KR.

Should a foot injury rule Horne out of this weekend's Super League clash with Leeds Rhinos, Hull would be without a recognised scrum-half.

"We'll have a clearer idea over Richard in the next 48 hours," McRae added.

"But there is no rush as the likes of Aaron Heremaia have covered the half-back positions admirably this season so there are options."
