Former Hull KR captain Michael Dobson will join Salford Red Devils at the start of the 2015 season.
The 28-year-old half-back has signed a four-year contract and will return to Super League after a year in Australia's NRL with Newcastle Knights.
The arrival of Dobson continues Salford's recruitment for 2015.
Castleford forward Weller Hauraki and Leeds winger Ben Jones-Bishop have sealed moves to the Red Devils, who are 11th in Super League, for next season.
And New Zealand international full-back Kevin Locke will link up with the club imminently, having originally agreed to join at the start of the 2015 campaign.
Salford had a bid for Dobson rejected by Hull KR last season, shortly before it was announced the player had exercised an opt-out clause in his contract with Rovers to secure a return to the NRL.
The Australian will compete with England international Rangi Chase, French youngster Theo Fages and Marc Sneyd, who is currently on loan at Castleford, for a first-team place at Salford next term.
"Michael's arrival will give us four fantastic half-backs at our club, easily the strongest in Super League," owner Marwan Koukash told the club website., external
Iestyn Harris, who achieved his second win as head coach of the Red Devils against Bradford on Sunday, added: "A number of big-name clubs really wanted him next season so I am delighted we have secured his services.
"He's going to bring a great deal of organisational and inspirational play to our line-up, and his partnership with the three halves we already have will be one of the most exciting ones in the competition."
