New Zealand defeated England 20-18 in their most recent meeting at last year's World Cup

England will host New Zealand in a three-match Test series in the autumn of 2015.

The series has been arranged following the collapse of the proposed Great Britain Lions tour down under.

England's most recent meeting with the Kiwis was their painful last-minute defeat in November's World Cup semi-final at Wembley.

They will also meet in Dunedin later this year when Australia and New Zealand host the Four Nations Series.

New Zealand's last tour in the United Kingdom in 2007 was the last under the Great Britain banner, and was won 3-0 by Tony Smith's Lions side.

The Rugby Football League will announce details of fixture dates, venues and ticket availability in November.
