Hull KR winger Josh Mantellato is to miss their trip to Wigan Warriors on Friday because he is best man at his brother's wedding in Australia.

The 28-year-old is the leading points scorer in Super League this season with 94 in 11 games.

He joined the Robins from NRL side Newcastle Knights last August.

The club said in a statement that Mantellato had informed them in November that he would be unavailable for selection this week.

"Josh was not included in the 19-man squad this week due to his involvement as best man at his brother's wedding," it said.

"The player flew to Australia after Saturday's game against Catalans to take part in the ceremony and will be back in England this Sunday and available for selection for the game against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats."

Chris Chester's side are ninth in Super League.
