Curtis Naughton returned to Super League this season after a spell at Sydney Roosters

Hull FC scored 26 second-half points as they came from 18-6 down to stun Super League champions St Helens 32-22.

Tries from Luke Thompson, Adam Swift and James Roby gave Saints a 12-point half-time lead, with Curtis Naughton replying for the visitors.

But five second-half tries, including Naughton claiming two more for a hat-trick, moves the Black and Whites off the bottom of the table above Catalans.

St Helens have lost their last three games and lose ground on leaders Leeds.

Keiron Cunningham's side had won their last nine games at Langtree Park but Hull, who won at Saints in April, capitalised on a number of errors in the second half.

The home side seemed to be in control with a 12-point half-time lead that was amassed as a result of some neat handling moves.

The visitors, who were missing eight first-team players, scored minutes into the second half when Tom Lineham touched down for the 22nd time this year.

Joe Westerman, Jamie Shaul and two more from Naughton secured the two points, before a late Mark Percival consolation for Saints.
