Halifax beat Leigh 34-12 to claim their first win of The Qualifiers in a result that keeps both sides' hopes of promotion to Super League alive.
The home side led 20-0 at the break through tries from Dane Manning, Ross Divorty and James Saltonstall, and four Steve Tyrer goals.
Leigh threatened a fightback as Adam Higson and Fuifui Moimoi replied.
But Scott Murrell went over before Tyrer crossed to add to three more goals to seal victory for Halifax.

The result leaves both sides with two points from five games, two points behind fifth-placed Bradford with two games to play.
Although an automatic place in Super League for finishing in the top three of The Qualifiers now appears beyond them, both of the sides can still finish in fourth or fifth which would see them play-off for promotion in the Million Pound Game.
