Tottenham striker Harry Kane has tweeted after receiving the PFA Young Player of the Year award and wrote: "So proud to be named @PFA young player of the year! So many people I could thank! A special night I won't forget!

While QPR's Joey Barton agreed with Kane winning the award, tweeting: "Eden Hazard PFA Player of the Year and Harry Kane PFA Young Player. Seems about right..."

And Didier Drogba has posted a picture on Instagram of his Chelsea team-mates celebrating with Hazard at the awards and wrote: "Leaving the venue with the best player of the @premierleague @hazardeden_10 Well done mate !!!!"

TV presenter, journalist and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan claimed on Twitter that Aaron Ramsey refused to shake his hand after Morgan previously called the Gunners midfielder an "utter liability". Morgan continuously referred to Ramsey as 'whatshisname' in a series of tweets.
