Juventus want Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey in January rather than on a free transfer in the summer and are trying to negotiate down the £20m the Gunners want for the 28-year-old Wales international. (Tuttosport, via Mirror)

Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain, who is on loan at AC Milan, is trying to force a move to Chelsea. Milan would be prepared to let the 31-year-old Argentina international leave if they can sign a replacement, and have made a move for Genoa's 23-year-old Poland forward Krzysztof Piatek. (Mail)
