Kingussie & Fort William extending winning runs

Champions Kingussie, 5-2 winners over Lovat, and newly promoted Fort William who defeated Beauly 1-0, extended their winning Premiership runs to all three games this season.
In contrast Skye, 4-0 losers away to Oban Camanachd, and Kyles who went down 4-2 to Caberfeidh, still seek their first points along with Beauly.
Lochaber's flying start in the National Division received a setback when they were pegged back to a 1-all draw on Bute.
At The Dell, Marc MacLachlan's early opener for Lovat was soon cancelled by Thomas Borthwick before Ruaraidh Anderson and Roddy Young put Kingussie 3-1 up.
Into the second half, Danny Kelly made it 3-2 but Anderson completed his hat trick to clinch it for Kingussie.
Fort William's game at An Aird against the other newly-promoted side Beauly remained goalless until Victor Smith broke the deadlock after 70 minutes.
Two from Ross Campbell and one each from Ross MacMillan and Scott Campbell saw Oban Camanachd comfortably home.
Caberfeidh strolled to a 3-0 half time lead at home to Kyles with a double from Logan Beaton and one from Craig Morrison.
Into the second half, the sides had a penalty apiece where Connor Kennedy pulled one back for Kyles before Kevin Bartlett made it 4-1.
An Ian McCall own goal then proved too little too late for Kyles.
In the second tier, Ben Delaney struck for Lochaber before Scott Harvey equalised for Bute in the penultimate minute.
Elsewhere Glasgow Mid Argyll edged visitors Kilmallie 1-0, Inveraray had a 3-1 home win over Strathglass and Col Glen overwhelmed Glenurquhart 4-1 in Drumnadrochit.
