People have been urged to put forward athletes, teams and coaches for the latest Isle of Man Sports Awards.

There are 12 categories for which people can submit names, including Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year.

In 2023, these top awards went to England rugby prop Bevan Rodd and elite women's British time trial cycling champion Lizzie Holden.

The winners will be announced a ceremony at the Villa Marina on 27 February, 2025, with 16 December the closing date for nominations.

The awards are organised by Isle of Man Sport, which consists of representatives appointed by the island's parliament, with recommendations being accepted either online or via email.

Chairman Andy Varnom said: "We are very fortunate to have such a talented and supportive sporting community and these awards recognise not only the competitors but those who help them achieve their goals."

In order to be eligible, nominees must either be Manx or have resided on the Isle of Man for at least two years.
