Lovat reached their sixth Tulloch Camanachd Cup final in nine seasons when they came from 2-0 down to defeat Oban Camanachd 3-2 at An Aird Fort William.
A point in Friday night’s 2-2 draw at home to Newtonmore sent Kingussie back top of the Mowi Premiership despite Caberfeidh’s later 3-2 defeat of hosts Kinlochshiel.
National Division leaders Beauly dropped their first point in a 1-1 draw at home to Glasgow Mid Argyll.
The HIS Sutherland Cup final for reserve teams will match Skye, who defeated Fort William 2-1, and Kingussie, who edged Newtonmore by the same scoreline.
At An Aird, Daniel MacVicar and Ross MacMillan gave Oban a 2-0 lead, but Greg Matheson pulled one back for Lovat just before half time.
Shortly after the hour, Matheson equalised with an oblique shot high into the net and, with 12 minutes remaining, Danny Kelly collected a Graeme MacMillan shot that rebounded from the Oban goalkeeper’s legs to send 2015 winners Lovat through.
They will meet the winners of the second semi-final between holders Kingussie and Fort William.
In the Premiership Badenoch Derby, Iain Robinson opened for Newtonmore then James Falconer and Dylan Borthwick put Kingussie ahead before Joe Coyle’s late equaliser.
Action concluded with a 4-1 shootout victory for Newtonmore to secure the Tommy MacPherson Trophy, which is contested by the two sides in one of their league encounters.
Craig Morrison scored after 15 minutes for Caberfeidh at Balmacara and it was into the second half before Archie MacRae equalised.
In the dying minutes, Morrison completed his hat-trick late on to clinch the points for Cabers, despite Donald Nixon’s second for Shiel.
Kingussie are now one point clear at the top with two games in hand.
In the second tier, Craig Anderson gave underdogs Mid Argyll a lead in the first half, but Euan MacCormick matched that in the second.
Inveraray squandered a chance to go second with a goalless draw on Bute.
A Jordan Murchison double won Skye their Sutherland Cup final place, while Jamie Robinson’s late winner for Newtonmore completed that line-up.
