Norwich City will relocate more than 3,000 fans next year as part of a long-term project to improve and expand Carrow Road.
With an eye on developing the City Stand eventually, the Canaries have set out four phases of work that are on the way.
This will see plans lodged soon for a fan zone behind the Barclay Stand and will include away supporters being moved to a new area of the stadium from the start of the 2026/27 season.
A club statement said the project was being launched with the aim of improving "supporter experience" and preparing the stadium for the "long-term future".

Changes are on the way at Carrow Road stadium, the home of Norwich City Football Club
This will see home fans currently sitting in the lower tier of the River End and a section of the South Stand needing to sit elsewhere, as visiting supporters will be moved to the lower tier of the River End.
The statement continues: "The club fully understands that relocating their seat will be a big change for some of our long-standing season ticket holders.
"Those season tickets holders directly impacted by these upcoming changes will have already received a direct communication from the club via email and we will do everything possible to ensure that this is a smooth process.
"For the season ticket renewal period ahead of the 2026/27 season, those supporters will be given priority on relocating their season tickets to other areas of Carrow Road and, where possible, be able to sit with their existing friends and family.
"Following that period, supporters in other areas of the stadium will also have the opportunity to relocate their season ticket."

Four phases
The Canaries have broken the project down into four phases, the first being the fan zone if planning permission is secured, with the aim of it being open before and after matches.
The club intends to submit the fan zone plans in January and hopes to start work in July.
Phase two will bring the new layout of the stadium and three will bring "premium offerings" to the River End, South Stand and Barclay Stand during 2027/28 "to create an improved matchday offering for those supporters wishing to upgrade their matchday experience".
Phase four is preparation for the redevelopment of the City Stand, although the BBC understands it is likely that the expense involved means that is most likely to happen if the club is established in the Premier League.
The statement concludes: "The club continues to explore plans to redevelop the City Stand, and the successful implementation of phases one, two and three will ensure the club is in the best possible position to progress plans in the future."
It adds that the work on that rebuild is expected to be from 2028 onwards.
Carrow Road has been home to the Canaries since 1935 and needed a new City Stand in 1984 after a fire.
The most significant change since then was when the South Stand was knocked down for a bigger replacement to be built, which opened in early 2004.
A full explanation of the upcoming changes has been published on the club's website and an open evening is being held at the stadium on Wednesday 15 October to allow fans to put questions to club staff.
