Kingussie finally clinched their fifth Mowi Premiership title with a 2-0 victory at Fort William, bringing to an end an intriguing season-long four-horse race.

Fraser Munro and Ruaridh Anderson both scored in the first half to secure a victory which gave Kingussie the crown by a margin of two points.

Newtonmore, Oban Camanachd and Fort William all challenged right through to the last full card of the season when Oban and Fort eventually departed the race.

This left Newtonmore leading on goal difference with Kingussie requiring just a single point in the very last game of the season which went ahead at rain-drenched An Aird at the second time of asking.

Their only league defeat was by Kinlochshiel and it was a series of five draws that made the title race such a cliffhanger.

However, Kingussie were unable to repeat their 2024 clean sweep of all of the game's four major honours.

They were also successful in their defence of the MacTavish and Macaulay Cups but fell short in the Camanachd Cup final where they succumbed 3-2 to local rivals Newtonmore in their only other defeat of the season.
