Ashworth could be in place at Newcastle next week

The impasse between Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion is close to being resolved regarding Dan Ashworth.
It means that Ashworth could be in position as sporting director at St James' Park as early as the end of next week.
The FA’s former technical director left his post at Brighton but was placed on gardening leave following his resignation in February.
