Rae heads to Raith Rovers on loan

Goalkeeper Josh Rae has joined Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old joined St Johnstone in the summer from Airdrieonians and has made 19 appearances this season.

However, he has been on the bench since Simo Valakari signed Andy Fisher on loan from Swansea at the beginning of the January transfer window.

Barry Robson's Rovers sit seventh in the second tier and Rae will offer competition for former Hibernian goalkeeper Kevin Dabrowski.
