Armagh goalscorer Barry McCambridge praised manager Kieran McGeeney after a dramatic 1-18 to 1-16 extra-time victory over Kerry in the All-Ireland SFC semi-final.
McCambridge sparked the Orchard county's second-half revival with a fisted goal after 55 minutes to help Armagh to their first All-Ireland decider since 2003.
"Geezer [McGeeney] gets some amount of stick for everything he does," McCambridge said at Croke Park.
"This year the players have been fully behind him and he's got his just rewards - it's amazing."
McCambridge also impressed by keeping Kerry's star David Clifford relatively quiet in an intense contest at headquarters on Saturday evening.
Armagh trailed by four points at half-time but showed resilience and nerve to take the game into extra-time before running out deserved winners.
They will now play the winners of Sunday's showdown between Donegal and Galway in the 28 July final.
"We want to push on now - we've got a final coming up and we want to get across the line there," added the defender.
"The support we've had behind us here, we're just glad we were able to do it for them, the whole county, Geezer, all the management team and ouselves the players."
Rian O'Neill was another top performer for Armagh and the forward picked up the Man of the Match award.
He flighted over a wonderful long distance point in the second half but O'Neill's focus has already shifted to the final.
"We know we didn't have the first half that we wanted - we just kept going and going, they pegged us back to make it level and then we thought we had chances to win it.
"We've been down this road before and they said we couldn't win tight games. It's a special day for Armagh but the job is only half done and we'll be back here in two weeks."
