Following on from Stephen Clegg’s thrilling Paralympic win in the pool on Saturday - the first Scot to take gold in Paris - there are a host of others looking to close in on their own medal opportunities on Sunday.

The headline act will undoubtedly be Para-cyclist Neil Fachie, looking to defend his gold medal from Tokyo with a qualifying race and, presumably, final to come in the Men's B 1,000m Time Trial at 12:51 BST.

In Para-athletics, Sammi Kinghorn will compete in the Women’s 800m T53 final looking for her first medal at these Games (18:04), and Melanie Woods will hunt a final place in the Women's 800m T54 final, scheduled for 18:15.

Swimmer Faye Rodgers seeks a medal chance in qualifying in the Women's 100m Freestyle S10 Heats with the final scheduled for 16:44.

Para-triathlete Alison Peasgood will compete alongside guide Brooke Gillies in the morning with a chance of a medal.

In Boccia, Stephen McGuire has a semi-final to navigate in the BC4 Men's individual and Patrick Wilson a quarter-final in the Men's Individual BC3.

Gordon Reid is scheduled to appear in Men's Singles and Doubles Wheelchair Tennis at Roland Garros, while in Archery, Nathan McQueen has a last-eight tie in the Men's Individual Compound Open.
