Wins for Monaghan and Cavan but Saffrons lose out

Monaghan remain top of Division Two and on course for promotion after easing to a 1-29 to 1-20 victory over Meath in Sunday's promotion showdown.
The Farney side produced a blistering first half in Navan and led 1-20 to 0-8 at the break before staying clear to win.
Cavan also enjoyed a Division Two victory but it was a lot closer against promotion rivals Roscommon as they ran out 0-22 to 0-20 winners.
Antrim dropped into the the Division Three relegation zone after going down 1-18 to 1-15 to Sligo at Corrigan Park.
Monaghan moved two points clear at the top with just one round of matches remaining with an impressive display against third-placed Meath.
The Ulster visitors surged clear after a tight opening and hit 1-6 without reply including a goal from Andrew Woods.
Gary Mohan, Jack McCarron and Michael Bannigan slotted over two-pointers as Monaghan went in 15 points in front.
Eoghan Frayne netted for Meath on the restart but there was to be no comeback with Rory Beggan putting over a two-point free soon after.
Meath cut into the lead but this was a convincing win for Monaghan as they chase a return to Division One.
Mixed fortunes for Cavan and Antrim
Cavan boosted their Division Two promotion hopes as they edged a close encounter with Roscommon.
Roscommon moved into an early 0-5 to 0-1 lead but Cavan fought back and moved in front before the hosts finished the first half strongly to lead 0-11 to 0-9 at the interval.
A two-pointer from Gearoid McKernan saw Cavan take a 0-15 0-14 lead but back came Roscommon to make it all-square late in the game.
Cavan had the final say with Sean McEvoy's point pushing their advantage out to three and going on to secure the win.
Antrim are fighting for their Division Three survival after replacing Sligo in the relegation spots.
The sides were level at 0-3 0-3 before Sligo gained the upper hand in Belfast and Luke Towey's goal helped the visitors to a 1-11 to 0-6 lead at half-time.
Antrim made a strong start to the second half and when Dominic McEnhill netted on 49 minutes the gap was down to just a single point.
Sligo responded and Alan McLoughlin's two-pointer helped them to a three-point victory.
