McConville, from Aghagallon in County Antrim, triumphed in the advanced giant slalom final in Turin with a time of one minute 15.04 seconds.
The 21-year-old was initially entered in the intermediate event before being promoted to the advanced category on Tuesday.

It was McConville's second Games appearance after competing as a 13-year-old in Austria in 2017, where he won a silver and bronze medal.
Ballinderry's Best, 33, also topped the podium in the novice division, completing her run in 1:59.03.
