Glamorgan won by 13 runs
Glamorgan won their T20 Blast match against Kent by 13 runs in a reduced 13 overs apiece match at Canterbury.
Following heavy rainfall the visitors were put in by Sam Billings and were quickly into their stride with notable contributions of 18 apiece by Kiran Carlson and Will Smale.
The crucial innings though came from Australian Marnus Labuschagne, unbeaten on 50 off 26 balls, ably supported by Colin Ingram's 26.
Chasing 146 for victory, Kent never exerted any pressure in reply and the visitors’ total never really looked under threat.
Despite Sam Billings and Tom Rogers hitting 33 and 31 respectively, disciplined bowling by Glamorgan led by Timm Van der Gugten with 2 for 26 tipped the balance in Glamorgan's favour to ensure victory by 13 runs.
Kiran Carlson’s side will now hope to round off what has been a frustrating campaign on Friday when they entertain Somerset at Sophia Gardens.
Kent remain bottom of the Southern Group.
