Top three all win comfortably in shinty's Premiership

The top of the Premiership remains unchanged following comfortable victories for the leading three, but Fort William dropped further back with a defeat on Skye.
A 4-0 victory away to already-relegated Lovat kept champions Kingussie a point clear. Ruaridh Anderson scored early and Toby Thain made it 2-0 at half time, in advance of a second half double from Dylan Borthwick.
Camanachd Cup winners Newtonmore - who have played an extra game - did their goal difference no harm when they overwhelmed Kyles 6-0 at Tighnabruich.
Camanachd final man-of-the-match Iain Robinson led the way with a hat trick - including a penalty - in just eight first-half minutes. Struan Ross, James Coyle and Euan Dingwall then doubled Newtonmore's advantage after the interval.
Five different scorers without reply at home to Caberfeidh kept Oban Camanachd behind Newtonmore only on goal difference.
Daniel MacCuish and Lewis Cameron were on target in the first half before Daniel Cameron, Malcolm Clark and Daniel MacVicar put the points in the bag for Oban.
Fort William's game in Portree was goalless in the first half but strikes from Skye's Ruaraidh MacLeod and Jordan Murchison won it for the hosts, leaving Fort four points off the lead but with a game in hand on Kingussie, and with three to play.
Glasgow Mid Argyll dropped out of contention for the second promotion place in the National Division when they could only draw 3-3 at home to Glenurquhart.
Craig Anderson's opener for Mid Argyll was cancelled by Alastair MacLean and Glen then went ahead through Neale Reid.
Anderson's and MacLean's second neutralised each other in advance of Calum Morrison salvaging a point for Mid Argyll.
However this wasn't enough to catch Col Glen, currently in the second promotion place behind champions Lochaber.
This leaves Bute with their last opportunity to reach the top flight ahead of Col Glen if they can win their final game at home to Inveraray on 4 October.
Several weeks after being relegated to the area leagues, Strathglass ended a miserable second tier season on zero points with a 4-2 defeat by Inveraray.
