Former Cavan football boss Mickey Graham is set to become the new Leitrim manager.

On Monday night, Leitrim GAA approved Graham's appointment on a three-year term and said it was subject to the approval of the county's management committee which is likely to be a rubber-stamping exercise.

Graham acted as assistant boss to Andy Moran this season after stepping down as Cavan manager following the 2023 campaign.

His five-year stint as Cavan manager was highlighted by the county's Ulster Championship triumph in 2020 when they shocked Donegal in the provincial decider.
