Defending men's champions Scotland take a record of three wins out of three into their Monday round-robin match with Switzerland (10:00 GMT) at the European Curling Championships, which will be shown live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

Bruce Mouat's rink triumphed 8-1 against England on Sunday, with the beaten side featuring Mouat's brother, Colin, as an alternate.

The Scots opened in Finland against the Netherlands and won 8-6 before a narrow 6-5 victory over Norway.

Mouat has been skip for Scotland's three European titles in a row and their 2018 win.

"I would have been annoyed if we’d lost that game," said Scotland skip Mouat.

"That’s the brotherly rivalry as well as just me being a complete competitor.

"Colin and I are still speaking, though, and it was quite a special moment to have the chance to play against him at a major championship like this, so I’m really proud of him for getting here and being able to play.

"It’s funny to think back to when we were eight years old starting out in curling and now we’re both in our thirties and playing against one another at a European Championships.

"It’s pretty baffling to comprehend, but it’s a memory to hold and we’ll be able to look back at photos of this day and be able to reflect on this I’m sure later on in life."

Mouat's rink also play Austria on Monday (18:00).

In the women's competition, Rebecca Morrison's Scottish rink have one win from three and face Turkey (06:00) and Hungary (14:00) on Monday.
