Skye handed Fort William their first defeat of the season with a 2-1 scoreline after extra time at An Aird in the Artemis Macaulay Cup.

Newtonmore squeezed past struggling Beauly 1-0 at The Eilan and Bute edged Col Glen 2-1 at Glendaruel. A late rally sent Glasgow Mid Argyll through 2-1 at Inveraray.

Kingussie went two points clear in the Mowi Premiership with a 2-0 away win over Caberfeidh.

Fort's Lachie Shaw broke the deadlock after 81 goalless minutes. However there was still time for Ross Gordon to take the tie to extra time when Archie Millar scored Skye's winner, ending Fort's unbeaten run at seven league and cup games.

Joe Coyle grabbed Newtonmore's winner after 79 minutes to move Beauly's run of straight defeats this season into double figures.

A Scott Harvey first-half double was enough for Bute despite Neilly MacNaughton pulling one back for Col Glen late on.

Campbell Watt put Inveraray ahead late in the first half but Mid Argyll's John Sweeney grabbed a double in the last four minutes.

Oban Camanachd vs Kilmory and Kyles against Aberdour were declared walkovers, with the away sides unable to raise teams.

Liam Borthwick's double for Kingussie came in the first and the penultimate minutes.

In the twin National Division derbies, leaders Lochaber stormed back from 4-2 down to edge visitors Kilmallie 5-4 and at Drumnadrochit Glenurquhart had a comfortable 5-1 success over Strathglass in shinty's oldest derby, first played in 1887.
