Jersey's women won the island's first gold on the athletics track at the Island Games as they edged out the Isle of Man in Friday's 4 x 400m final.
Hazel Le Cornu, Claire Wilson, Sophie Twinam and Gemma Dawkins completed the race in a new Games record of 3:53.79.
The Isle of Man quartet finished in 3:54.79, with hosts the Isle of Wight coming third in 4:02.93.
"Finding out that we got the Championship record is amazing - it's the best feeling ever," Le Cornu said.
"After the week we've had, we've had a few disappointments, so this has just totally made our week, and getting the gold for a third time in a row is even better."
