Jersey's Zane Duquemin says he is "fuming" after coming second in the shot put at the British Championships, despite winning the discus.

He took the British discus title with a throw of 60.38m in Birmingham.

But his throw of 18.00m in the shot put was was 0.34m off first place.

"Still fuming about coming 2nd in the shot but winning the discus with a season's best made up for it a bit," Duquemin, who will represent Jersey at Glasgow 2014, said on Twitter., external
